"Don’t be afraid to fall," we were told. "That is how you learn."
A few weeks ago, I was sent to cover a yoga retreat. It could not have come at a better time. Just days before I got an email about that assignment, I was looking up yoga classes on the internet. My mind has been clouded by negativity, and I knew it was my decision whether to nurse it, or fight it completely. I chose to fight.
At that retreat, I met people. Wonderful, peace-loving, free-spirited people. People who believed in the flow of the universe. People who believed that they were there, as I was, because all things are always meant to be. I saw a piece of myself in each of them. And that is a rare, incredible thing.
It could not have come at a better time.
